Christina, a pet rescue and animal rehabilitator for over 11 years and current veterinary assistant, services the Indio, CA and surrounding areas of Riverside, CA. Christina has been caring for Gotta Love'Em! clients and their pets since July of 2007 and has been an incredible pet sitter! She is extremely caring, organized, educated, and trustworthy sitter!

Background & Experience

Christina is currently the proud owner of two rescued cats, a snake from abandonment, an abused/neglected iguana whom has since been nursed back to health after his bout with Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD), and what was once a malnourished turtle. In the past, Christina has also cared for dogs, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and horses! She is an avid pet lover and is an amazing pet sitter! Christina came to Gotta Love'Em! Pet Care as a part-time personal trainer specializing in corrective exercise and with a background in retail management however, after our interview with her, we knew pets and their care were her true passion - so much that she left her corporate job to pursue her interest in pet sitting and pet care! Christina's other certifications include working as a Navy fireman for 5 years, a certified Red Cross Volunteer (working in both the Cedar and Witch Creek fires) and has been certified in Adult, Child, Infant and Pet CPR & First Aid! A true lover of pets and animals, Christina is currently enrolled at Pima Medical Institute where she is pursuing a certifcation as a veterinary technician/assistant. She has received valedictorian and class speaker honors. Around her schooling and pet sitting services, Christina has spent her personal time as a volunteer at the Chula Vista Animal Shelter until she moved to the Indio area in 2009. Christina was a previously self-taught pet professional through books and personal experience and whenever she would receive an animal she would immediately study up on it's behaviors, preferred environments, and care. Using her previous and ongoing knowledge and experience as well as her current veterinary education, Christina provides our clients pets with amazing care and attention! We truly love having Christina a part of our pack!
